FAQ

  • What should I do to prepare for my move?

Having your loose items boxed and sealed is an important step in preparation. Also, having a plan of where the items will go in your new residence is helpful. You should also have keys and access to your new residence before the move so that there is no unnecessary delay.

  • Do I need to empty drawers, nightstands, refrigerators,

There will be a chance for the contents of dressers and chests of drawers to shift as they will be tipped and turned. Items such as nightstands, desks and cabinets should be emptied of all items, especially items that can spill or break. It is best practice that other than clothes or linens, everything be removed from drawers, cabinets, filing cabinets, desks, credenzas, buffets and all other furniture. Refrigerators and freezers must be cleaned out as well.
